Rachel is a Managing Director of Mlegal Group, Inc. based in the Washington, D.C. office, working alongside partners Jane Sullivan Roberts and Lauren Drake. Rachel focuses on the identification of suitable candidates from both the public and private sector who are looking for a role as a senior lawyer at a law firm. Rachel also works closely with law firms on their lateral attorney search processes. She specializes in learning the unique attributes and hiring needs of the firm and its practice groups and identifying candidates who will be strong substantive and cultural fits for the firm.
Prior to joining Mlegal Group, Rachel was a federal prosecutor at both the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia. Rachel also was an adjunct law professor at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. She enjoys working with attorneys of any level of seniority, including attorneys in the early stages of their careers as they evaluate and navigate potential career decisions.
Rachel received her Juris Doctor from the Villanova University School of Law and her undergraduate degrees in Finance and Government from the College of William and Mary, where she was a Division 1 scholarship track athlete. She lives in Northern Virginia and spends much of her time outdoors with her husband, three children, and rambunctious dog.
